Attached please find the DRAFT 2011-12 FIS and Championship Calendar of events. Please note that this is still a draft. A few event locations may still change especially after the storm this past weekend which caused immense damage to some ski areas. We hope that they are able to recover, and will keep the calendar as-is until we know for sure if some venues have been damaged and are unable to host races.

Please note that the FIS calendar on the FIS web site has been updated, however a few events need to have some minor corrections. These should be complete by tomorrow.

Please note a few changes from prior years.
1. Eastern Alpine Championships will no longer be held. The Eastern Cup Finals can be considered the replacements.
2. Canadian K2 Nationals are no longer being held. The Eastern Region, along with Alpine Quebec and Alpine Ontario have created the J3 Am Can at Tremblant this year after the successful J4 Can Am of the past several years.
3. J4 Can Am will include a Skills assessment program.
A J3 Talent ID project is tentatively planned for Park City in early April. Details will follow as soon as they are available from USSA in Park City. This event will be instead of Topolino and Whistler Cup. The USA will no longer field teams to these races.
