2009 - 2010 MVC J3 Rules

1. USSA: J3's will need to display their USSA card, or a copy, at all MVC race registrations
2. For the first 2 races, as in the past, the J3 running order will be by Club list, with the Club running order done by random draw. The Club list(s) will be sent to jdelcol2@gmail.com for J3 series events using Tom Mason's excel spreadsheet containing USSA #, Name, Club, YOB, and verifying that racer is a VARA member. Race files will be done by MVC and submitted to the appropriate race organizer utilizing the USSA format.
3. Entry fees for all levels for this season will be $25 for SL and GS, and $30 for SG.
4. VARA Team athletes will be given complimentary entry into all MVC races. J3 VARA Team members for 2010 is Wyatt Queirolo.
5. The 1st run running order will be 'flip the top 5' beginning with the 3rd MVC race. 2nd run order: J3's will run 2nd run "flip 15" for boys and "flip 15" for girls and the remainder in "bibbo" fashion - dnf's and dq's will run at the end.
6. Results for races will display individual runs and combined results with place points visible.
7. The Banner will be awarded based upon the combined place points of the top four (4) boys and/or girls for each club with the lowest total score being awarded the Banner for that week. Top ten (10) boys and girls for are awarded medals.
8. It is suggested that results be handed to parents using the Club software to save paper, or by editing the USSA software printing format. Furthermore, race files must be emailed jdelcol2@gmail.com and g.fletch1@gmail.com for J3 events and also forwarded to julie@vara.org Results must be posted on the VARA website as soon as possible following the event. By submitting race files to USSA, results will be posted on their results site as well.
9. Relevant quotas, ie. ERS Team, State Championship Team, will be announced by VARA or MVC Chairman per VARA rules.
