To All Volunteers
Meet upstairs at the Alpine Training Center (ATC) near timing room at 8:00 AM sharp.
  • Before gatekeeper's meeting, sign in on both sign-in sheets GATEKEEPERS SIGN-IN and WORK SHEET.
    • ALL gatekeepers and race crew MUST sign in up stairs.
    • The sign-in sheets are hanging on the wall next to the timing room.
    • Make sure to PRINT your name CLEARLY on the correct sheet (gatekeeper OR race crew)
    • If needed, lift tickets are given out downstairs at the front desk.
    • After the race ALL gatekeepers and race crew MUST sign-out downstairs at the front desk.
    • These procedures MUST be followed by EVERYONE in order to receive credit for working the race (whether you are working toward a season’s pass or vouchers).
  • You MUST BE at your assigned duty station at least fifteen (15) minutes before the start of the run.
    • All forerunners will go before the official run start time.
    • To arrive at your work location on time, you need to consider
    • what trail the race is on
    • the length of time in the lift line
    • time to ride the lift
    • the time to ski down to your duty location
    • Please take all into account when planning your time to leave the ATC.
    • THE RACE CANNOT START UNTIL ALL WORKERS ARE IN POSITION.
  • After receiving assignment, completely file out the top of your form(s) while in the ATC.
    • GATEKEEPERS:
    • Run #, Gate(s) #, [Check One: DH, GS, SL or SG ], Date, Gate Judge (Print your full name) and Alternate (Show by 1st Bib #).
    • HAND TIMERS
    • Date, Page, [Check one 1st Run or 2nd Run], [Check One: START or FINISH], [Check One WOMEN or MEN]
    • TIMER NAME: (Print full name), [Check One DH, GS, SL or SG] and RECORDER NAME: (Print full name).
