2007 - 2008 VARA Team

VARA TEAM CRITERIA

The VARA Team is a select group of VARA member Vermont ski racers that have earned the right to wear the VARA Team vest and have earned free entries into VT races by meeting a certain criteria which includes:

VOC Winning Team (6)

VC Overall Gold (2)

GTS Overall Gold (2)

J1/sr, J2, J3 State Championship Overall Gold (6)

J 4 State Championship Event Gold (6)

EAC Event Gold, Overall - Honorary

J2 Easterns Event Gold and Overall - Honorary

J2 Nationals Event Gold and Overall � Honorary

J3 JO Event Gold and Overall � Honorary

Eastern Regional Team, USST - Honorary

Athletes who have achieved any one of these criteria, who are VARA members and who are of strong character, and show high regard for being a good sport will proudly be named to the prestigious VARA Team. Being named to the VARA Team is considered an honor and VARA is confident that each and every team member will nobly represent VARA and the state of VT!

Athletes must have been a member VARA and of a Vermont club the previous winter as well as the coming winter.
