Thank you to Mike Morin, Sydney Koop, and the SMS / Stratton Resort teams for hosting a memorable state championship for our VARA U14 athletes. Many thanks as well to the VARA Officials, Bob Mangiacotti, TD, Ben Blakely, TD, Tom Ives, Race Administrator, and the coaches who served as referees and course setters.

 

VARA continues to invest in host sites to enhance our events, and the U14 states at Stratton certainly delivered. Our partnerships with VARA Clubs and VSAA Resorts, such as Stratton, are integral to developing our youth into both sport enthusiasts and elite ski racers.

 

As a special bonus, Mike Morin has a hobby you all will appreciate; he photographed as many athletes as possible while also serving as Chief of Race.
