MISC Details: Format: In the morning, there will be two back to back GS runs from the Surprise road start. The fastest 16 men and 8 women based on single fastest time will advance to the Panel SL shootout in the afternoon. Competitors will race head to head in a dual panel SL, the field will be eliminated until there is one men’s and women’s champion. Qualification: Qualification for the afternoon is based on a competitor fastest single run from the morning GS. If a competitor DNFs one run they can still qualify for the shootout, if they have a fast enough 2nd run or 1st run time. Top 16 men and Top 8 women will qualify for the Panel SL in the afternoon. Registration: 9:30 – 10:00 (Will need to show ID at registration) 1st GS run: 10:30 Running order women (oldest to youngest), then men (oldest to youngest) 2nd GS run: immediately following completion of the first run Lunch: 11:30 Noon (BBQ and Beverages) Run-off begins: 12:30 Awards: Top 3 Women and Men in GS for each age bracket and Top 3 in the Run-off will receive awards as well as the winning team, GS awards and Teams awards for the morning will be given at lunch estimated to take place at 12:00. Entry fee is $35, you receive a BBQ and Free Drinks for the Party, and a free koozie with registration. If you race in the Harvey Wesson Local Race and have paid your entry fee, the entry fee for the Blast from the Past is $10 Teams: A team must consist four members. At least one member of the team must be a Female, and/or one member of the team must be over the age of 40. Team scores are based on the GS results. Fastest Team will receive a reward. Pre-Registration is preferred and can be done by emailing [email protected] with Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Team name if a member of a team. Teams, please enter all members of team at once, in single email. Must be 21 or older to compete
