FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OPTIONS

VARA Grants

The Vermont Alpine Racing Association (VARA) is proud to provide grant opportunities that support our member athletes as they pursue excellence, represent Vermont with pride, and strive to reach their highest potential at the regional, national, and international levels.

A limited number of grants are awarded each year. Current grants include:

• U14 athletes: up to $1,000 
• U16 and older athletes: up to $3,000 

Applicants must be current VARA members to be eligible. Applications are due by September 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM (noon).

The VARA Scholarship Committee will review all applications, contact each athlete’s home program, and notify recipients in October 2026.

NOTE:

• All questions require an answer.   
• Applications MUST be complete for consideration.
• Applications will not be accepted from U12 athletes or from applicants who fail to submit a complete application by the deadline.
